Gentle, hydrating resurfacing for fresh, glowing skin
After a hydrabrasion facial in Newcastle or Lake Macquarie? Fit Skin Clinic in Redhead offers hydrabrasion — a gentle, water-powered facial that exfoliates, cleanses and deeply hydrates in one treatment. It's a beautiful option for dull, dehydrated or congested skin that wants a fresh, glowing finish without harshness or downtime. Performed by Amanda in our Steel St clinic, minutes from Charlestown and Belmont.
Hydrabrasion uses a stream of water and gentle suction to resurface the skin — lifting away dead skin cells and surface congestion while infusing hydration at the same time. Because it works with water rather than abrasive crystals, it suits most skin types, including skin that finds traditional microdermabrasion too harsh. You're left with smoother, brighter, better-hydrated skin straight away.
Deeply hydrates dry, tight or dehydrated skin for a plump, dewy finish.
Lifts dullness and surface build-up to reveal fresher, more radiant skin.
Gently resurfaces for softer skin that wears makeup beautifully.
Clears everyday congestion without irritation or downtime.
Both exfoliate and refresh the skin, but the technique differs. Microdermabrasion mechanically buffs the surface, which is great for thicker, congested skin. Hydrabrasion uses water and suction, so it's gentler and more hydrating — often the better choice for sensitive, dry or dehydrated skin. Not sure which suits you? Amanda will recommend the right one at your appointment.
Allow around 75 minutes for your hydrabrasion facial, which includes cleansing, the hydrabrasion treatment, and nourishing serums and masks to finish. There's essentially no downtime — your skin may look a little flushed briefly, then simply fresh and glowing, which is why many clients book it before an event or special occasion. You'll leave with simple aftercare and any Circadia home-care recommendations to extend your results.

They're similar in concept — water-based resurfacing and hydration — but HydraFacial is a specific branded system. At Fit Skin Clinic we offer our own professional hydrabrasion facial; ask Amanda about the equipment we use.
